DataView Functionallities

DataView 7.x has some great new features, compared to version 6 and earlier:

oGUI - NEW: DataView has been completely re-designed to handle high frequency data

oHigh Frequency Data - NEW: You can now open EDF and BDF measurement files instantly.

oChannel Layouts - NEW: Define your own layouts to combine and organize your values.

oExtensions - NEW: A completely reworked extension language allows for more sophisticated extensions.

Previous DataView releases, up to version 6 offered:

oImport-Templates - It is possible to save your import settings, so you can re-use them. This saves time and prevents errors if you repeatedly import the same kind of data.

oExtension Language DXL - Similar to the IXL extension language available in INTERACT, DataView now offers a DXL editor. This allows you/us to create new functionalities.

oCreate INTERACT Events - Based on the new DXL extension language, routines like 'search for all occasions where a specific limit was raised, and transfer those results to INTERACT Events', can be easily created.

oReceive INTERACT Codes - INTERACT is able to enter Codes into your value list, for all values measured within the corresponding time frame.

oRecent Files -  The new Recent files command in the File menu makes handling multiple files easier.

oNew Time Format - The DataView time format has been changed from Video Images (frames) to Milliseconds, which makes it easier to understand the time information and easier to use in other computer programs. Old DataView files with frame information can still be used with this new DataView version.

oSampling Rate - Improved: The Import of data without time information, has been improved: A 'sampling rate' value can be defined during the import procedure.

oSave as csv - It is now possible to save your reworked data as a CSV file, for immediate import into Microsoft Excel or any other software that can read CSV files.
