Multimedia control during data logging

The way INTERACT controls your video during an observation session can be adjusted to your needs:

oStart video in sync with logging an Event - This option enables you to easily log Events seamlessly and is very helpful in combination with the Pause after logging an Event option. It is set as a default for the Coding mode Lexical (Post-hoc). In that case, pressing the SPACEBAR or any other first level Code starts your multimedia file(s) and the logging of a new Event simultaneously.

oStart new Event with next video image - To ensure a seamless string of Events, without overlapping frames. Starting from the current position, INTERACT always uses the next frame as the start time of a new Event, if this option is selected.

oStop after Event logging - Activate this option to pause you multimedia file(s) at the end of each Event logged, enabling you to enter multiple Codes into the just logged Event or enter additional information into the transcription area. Per default activated when the Lexical (Post-hoc) coding mode is selected.
