Work with templates

In this section we describe how to save an INTERACT document, so it can be used as a template for future sessions.

Note: A template can contain anything a data-file can!

The most important reasons to create a template are:

oTo predefine a study specific Code Archive

oCreate a DataSet structure for the various sessions

oAssign Independent Variables, with predefined value lists for easier and consequent identification

oPredefine Class columns in a specific order

oFor training purposes or for time sampling based studies, setup documents that contain pre-defined Events and/or DataSets.

oSet the number of frames per second, to ensure that data will only be logged if the correct codec is installed!

oPredefine one of the other file properties.
