Add Markers during Review

Logging markers for a previously recorded session works the same during a live observation, as described in Log Markers.

It does have some significant advantages, though:

oYou can pause the videos for more accurate Markers.

oPosition the videos at the exact point in time using a previous logged Marker.

oChange the onset and offset of specific Marker entries to add duration.

IMPORTANT: Any of those changes are NOT automatically saved.  The moment unsaved changes are available, the Save button Next Topic turns blue.
Make sure you save your changes before you leave the edited session.

Adjust existing Marker entries

It is possible to adjust the time information of existing log entries. This allows you to create Marker entries with duration, covering a specific period in the video:

Position the video on the new Onset time.

Right-click into the Marker line to be adjusted.

Select Change onset from the context menu.

The selected line(s) now receive the current time information as its onset value.

Same can be done for the Offset time of course:

Position the video on the new Offset time.

Right-click into the Marker line to be adjusted.

Select Change offset from the context menu.

TIP:It is also possible to adjust the time information using the Time Line, as described in Marker List & Time Line.

Delete existing Marker

To remove a Marker entry from your log file:

Right-click the line to be removed.

Select Delete Marker from the context menu.

Sort Marker list

The moment you open a previously recorded session, all Marker entries are automatically sorted by time.

If you added Markers afterward, the new entries appear at the bottom of the list, even if that is not their chronological position.

You can quickly sort the list any time you need to, without the need to leave the session:

Just click on the heading of the column after which you want to sort the list.

The first click sorts the contents in ascending order, the second click on the same column header sorts the contents in descending order.

This means you can effortlessly sort your marker data by Onset, Offset, Sender, Subject, Class and Code.
