LabSuiteLog Files

The *.LabSuiteLog file can be opened by INTERACT 18, which automatically creates a new INTERACT file with the links to the recorded videos already in place.

Additionally, this file holds the following session details:

log_labsuitelogfile

[Header] section - Recorder name and version, recording date and start time of the recording.

[INTERNAL] section - Details about the session like the user who was logged in, the name of the Scenario used for the recording and the name of the Marker file holding your markers and comments for that session, so VideoSyncPro can display the correct data when reviewing a session.

[Data] section - Details per recorded video and Mangold application:

StartTime - Value in 100 Nanoseconds, logging the offset between pushing the Start Record button and the actual signal sent to the camera (e.g., 11327 = 1.1327 milliseconds).

StopTime - Value in 100 Nanoseconds, logging the offset between pushing the Start Record button and the actual STOP record signal send to the camera once you pushed the Stop Record button (e.g. 11327 = 1.1327 milliseconds).

This means that StopTime minus StartTime, divided by 10,000,000, gives you the duration of the recording in seconds.

Note: We can only trace the instant a command is sent, not when the camera receives it, nor when the camera actually follows the command.

SenderType - Name of the Mangold application sending the information.

IP Adress - Network address of the system running the Mangold application that sends the information.

SenderName - The unique identifier of the actual sender, in case of VideoSyncPro it holds the name of the scenario used for the recording.

FullFileName - Name and location of the recorded video files. Per default, the location is relative to the location of the *.LabSuiteLog file.

Type - Reflects the type of information stored in that line; information received from other products may have other types.

Data - Currently not in use.
