Class Report

This report provides accumulated statistics for all selected DataSets, including the frequency of all Codes per Class as well as the duration, all grouped per Class.

Create or open a data file (we used the demo file Air_Traffic_Controller.xiact).

Click Analysis - Evaluation - Statistics btn_tlc_fullstatistics>Class Report .

If your data file contains more than one DataSet, select the required DataSet(s) from the Select DataSet dialog.
(if you select multiple DataSets, all values from the selected DataSets are cumulated)

The 'Results' window, shows the following information, aggregated over all selected DataSets, split by behavioral Code and grouped per Class:

FreqOfOcc_Stats

The percentage values are calculated in different ways:

oRate/Coded (%) is based on the number of Events, for which a Code of that particular Class was coded. Events, that do not contain a Code from that Class, are not considered. Example: 9 / 36 = 25,00 %

oRate/all (%) is based on the total number of Events (also those that have no entry for that particular Class) and uses this value in comparison to the frequency (=Count) per Code.
Example: 9 / 65 = 13,85%

oDuration in Class (%) is the result of the total duration per Code, divided by the summary of the duration of those Events, which contain a Code from that particular Class.
Example: 23,72 / 82,80 = 28,65 %

oDuration in DataSet (%) is the result of the total duration per Code, divided by the total duration of all selected DataSets*.
Example: 23,72 / 148,88 = 15,93 %

*) Because there can be gaps and overlaps, the summary of the total Set duration is unrelated to the 'duration of coded Events' and the 'duration of not coded Events'. Instead it is the summary of all set durations as listed in the Statistics per code (Tables) results.
Therefore, the sum of the Duration in DataSet (%) column can be lower or even higher than 100%. Only when the Codes in a Class are truly mutually exclusive AND the Events are exhaustive, the total of this column will be 100.

IMPORTANT: If you need duration or frequency values for a specific time frame or split per DataSet, you need to follow the directions in the section DataSet-based Analysis.
There you can select the Classes, Codes and DataSets you are interested in AND you can define an exact time frame, as is describe in Time-based Interval Selection.
The statistics on frequencies can be found under Analysis - Full statistics on the tab 'Count', the duration is shown on the tab 'Duration'.
