Update DataSet Time Borders

If automatic updates are disabled, or if you reduced the number of Events and herewith the duration covered by a DataSet is reduced as well, the following options are of interest:

Set Time borders

If you want to automatically adjust all time borders, to the currently available Events, independent of the Timeline Chart, do as follows:

Click Transform - Time Values - Set Borders Btn_SetTimeBorders.

INTERACT now enters, the smallest start time and maximum offset, found within each DataSet, as the new start time and offset on DataSet level.

The same is done on DataGroup level, regarding the sub-ordered DataSets to a specific DataGroup.

Ask before Correction

If you want decide if an update is quired for each time values outside a DataSet are found, you can disable the automated update routine for all documents at once:

Click General - Program - SettingsBtn_ApplicationSettings.

Switch to the Calculation tab.

OptionsCalculate

Select Ask before correction, in the section DataSet time boundaries.

From this moment on, INTERACT asks you if the DataSet boundaries should be corrected as soon as one of the behavioral Events exceeds the time limits of the DataSet it is sub ordered to:

Error_TakeBoundaries
Arrow-Right-OrangeYES / No special DataSet boundaries - If you have not entered any specific time values at DataSet level, confirm this dialog by clicking Yes.

INTERACT now recalculates all DataSet and DataGroup time code boundaries, to enclose all sub-ordered Events, based on the minimum and maximum start time and offset time values found.

Arrow-Right-OrangeNO / Fixed DataSet boundaries - Whenever you did define specific time boundaries, click No to prevent that your values are removed.

INTERACT does not change the time code values of the DataSets, which means that at least part of one Event or even multiple Events is not included in the graphic nor in the statistics.
