Find Overlapping Events

If you are looking for co-occurrences, INTERACT offers the following routines:

Arrow-Right-OrangeTrim on Code Filter - Available within the Time Line Chart. Enables you to identify what else happened during all occurrences of a specific Code. This gives you an overview of all Codes that have been coded simultaneously with the selected Code at some point.

Read Trim on Code filter for details.

Arrow-Right-OrangeCo-occurrence Filter - Available within the Time Line Chart. Enables you to create new Events for al situations were a specific combination of Codes was coded simultaneously. This is helpful for identifying all situations that rely on a combination of behaviors, like 'eye contact' or 'joint attention'. Events created with this routine, are available in all statistics, like any manually logged Event.

Arrow-Right-OrangePattern Segmentation - Available on the Transform tab. This routine is applied to all data within a data-file. It creates a new file with sequential Events, with each Event representing the combination of Codes that overlap in time. If that combination changes, a new Event is created.
