LogSquare is available with the following license types:
 | Dongle based - This version only works with a USB license key attached. It can be run from the USB stick itself, which offers you all the flexibility you need. |
| PC based - This version comes with a license file that allows you to run the software on one single computer only. Make sure this computer meets the specifications as described in Requirements. |
Perform Installation
The license you received after purchase can be a USB license Stick (a.k.a. Dongle) or a Mangold License Code.
Dongle-based Version
If you have a USB dongle, it probably contains the installer of the software you have purchased.
▪Start this installer to transfer the software to your computer.
If there is no installer on the USB dongle or if the software has been purchased some time ago:
▪Download the latest applicable version for your license with help of our Mangold Software Manager.
License Code Version
If you received a license code / character code:
▪Install the Mangold Software Manager and use your license Code to download the latest applicable version for your license.
Software Management
Our Mangold Software Manager, enables you to download and install any Mangold product, based on the license available.
On our Website in the Mangold Help Center section you see a Download Software/Updates button.
Once the Mangold Software Manager is installed, it offers downloads valid for your license and automatically updates any outdated license information.
How to use the Mangold Software Manager:
▪Download the Mangold Software Manager-Setup program through Download Software/Updates.
▪Run the Mangold Software Manager-Setup program to install it on your computer.
▪Start the Mangold Software Manager and choose between the options:
- I have a Mangold USB License key (aka Donlge)
- I have a Mangold License Code
▪If you have a USB license / Dongle, make sure it is inserted.
The moment you click that button, the Software Manager searches for available products based on the key(s) inserted.
▪If you clicked the I have a license Code button, enter the code into the upcoming dialog.
| TIP: | Copy the number from our PDF or Email, it will be automatically inserted. |
▪Select the product(s) you want to install ad click Download selected Products to download the latest versions of the Mangold software products that are valid for your license.
Once the desired programs have been downloaded, the MangoldSoftwareManager offers to install them.
Install Software
Perform software product installation:
▪If you already have an installer of the software product you have purchased, on the USB dongle, start it.
If you are using Mangold Software Manager, have it installed by the Software Manager.
| TIP: | The Installer is downloaded to your system by the Software Manager. - Click Open download folder to locate the installer in the Windows explorer and make a back-up copy or transfer it to another computer for further installations. |
▪In the first dialog box of the installation program, choose the language for the installation process.
You can choose the language for the individual Mangold program later in the respective program's settings (the installer is only available in English and German, the GUI of the application itself might be available in more languages).
▪Click our way through the installer-wizard to install your software.
Note: Always install all the items suggested by the installer to keep the software running smoothly. This particularly applies to any third-party components that the Mangold installation program might offer.
IMPORTANT: Administrator rights are required during installation.
