Workflow Properties

Each Workflow has workflow-specific properties that influence the way a workflow perfoms.

Most important is the Workflow behavior at runtime setting.

Additionally, you can specify the category under which an installed Workflow appears, and add a language dependent name and description.

Open the Workflow Properties

Make a right-click into an empty spot of the Workflow canvas.

Select Edit  Workflow properties from the context menu.

The Workflow properties dialog appears:

Workflow Behavior

The first settings allow you to specify how the Workflow behaves during runtime:

oShow standard dialogs - Each command shows its usual interface, if available. The user needs to apply its personal selection.

oInteractive with predefined settings - Each command shows an interface with predefined settings, if available.

oSilent execution with standard settings - None of the commands show a dialog and standard settings are applied.

oSilent execution with predefined settings - None of the commands show a dialog and are executed with your predefined settings.

Show description when running the Workflow: This option applies to the Workflow description in the lower part of these Workflow properties. the visibility of this description depends on the selection of this option and is not affected by the silent execution of the Workflow itself.

Menu EntRY

Workflow Category - Determines under which menu a workflow will be installed when it is dragged upon the INTERACT window.

wftNone: The workflow appears in under Start - Worflows.

Workflow subfolder - Optional. Creates a sub-menu underneath the destination menu.

Workflow Description

Multi-language description of the Workflow that can be shown before the Workflow is executed.

You can switch between languages and enter a description translated in the corresponding language. Depending on the current language, the corresponding text will show during execution.

Default language is English, so whatever is entered on the 'English' page will show for English systems and systems for which no translation is available.
