Ribbons, Tabs and Groups

Because INTERACT is a Ribbon-based application, all commands and routines are grouped per activity.

The first ribbon contains the main toolbar with its tabs. Within each tab, the various commands are arranged in separated areas called Groups.

That is why all main command references, throughout the documentation, are written as Tab - Group - Command or, if an command offers a drop-down-list with command alternatives, as Tab - Group - Command > Sub Command.

To ensure that you find your way around right from the start, you find a description of the available commands and buttons of the INTERACT toolbar in this section.

The details on the second ribbon - the one containing the Multimedia Controls - are discussed in Observation Ribbon
