Workflow Modules

This section contains the detailed description an ever growing collection of Workflow-modules that can contain predefined, project specific information.

There are already many more modules available in the Workflow editor, most of them are more or less self explaining if you know the original feature within INTERACT.

Basic Properties

Each Workflow Module has Basic properties.

Those properties specify generic settings on what data die module is applied and how the data is forwarded. Most modules offer the following Basic properties:

oColor

The color in which the current module is displayed within the Workflow Editor. By default, the different types of operations are assigned to separate colors.
This color has no impact on the functionality

oDataModule

oForwardMarkedOnly

False : This module forwards all data to the next module.

True : This module forwards only currently selected Events to the next module.

oExamineElements

AllElements : This module uses all data, existing Events and new lines created by the previous workflow modules.

MarkedOnly : This module uses only the currently selected Events.

NotMarkedOnly : This module uses only the currently NOT selected Events

oMarkbehavior

LeaveAsIs : This module does not change the current selection of Events.

UnmarkAll : This module clears any available selection

MarkAll : This module selects all currently available Events

MarkNewOnly : This module clears any previous selections and selects only the data resulting from its own operation.

KeepExistingAndMarkNew : This module keeps the previous selection and adds the data resulting from its own operation to the selection.

oMatch case

False : all occurrences of the searched for characters are fou

True : only occurrences that match the specified case are found.

oElementType

Name of the current module

For some modules, part of this information is also available in the module GUI-based Settings dialog.

Module Settings

Many Workflows offer module a specific Settings dialog in which the user can predefine exactly the conditions for that command.

Those settings vary enormously per module, depending on the type of module and underlying command.

You can enter project specific information that must be applied to your data. the following modules are explained in detail:
