Roles and Features

The VideoSyncPro Studio security database holds several predefined roles with assigned features.
Limiting the ability to make changes to the configuration prevents unauthorized changes that can interfere with the functioning of the video lab.

oThe default users all stand for a specific role.

oFeatures can be selected to configure each role.

oOnly the Administrator can adjust the features available per role.

TIP:To disable the automated log-in on application start, the Administrator needs to delete the Standard User. In that case, a new user with a slightly different name can overtake the role of the default Standard User.

BEWARE: If you define custom users, make sure you make a backup of your user data base AND pay attention during each update, whenever you answer the question about the user data base being overwritten.
